Hello and welcome to Helen B Pilates. It’s great to know you’re interested in pilates. I am based in north Herefordshire and teach in local community halls, in my garden studio and live online in our members only group. My aim is for everyone to move more and move better. Pilates will improve your life. Pilates can be a way of movement for life. Pilates will help you live your best life.

Pilates improves core strength, re-connecting the mind and the centre. Core strength is a key factor in decreasing back and hip pain, decreasing pelvic floor dysfunction, and is the area from which explosive movement derives, hence its nickname “the powerhouse.”

Research shows that Pilates helps boost immune the system’s functionality and encourages the release of endorphins (the feel-good hormones). This leads to better sleep and less stress.
